Course Introduction
Workplace bullying and psychological harassment present serious risks to employee wellbeing, organizational culture, and productivity. This training course provides a comprehensive understanding of how bullying behaviors manifest, why they persist, and the profound psychological, legal, and operational consequences they create for individuals and institutions.
Participants will explore workplace bullying as a systemic issue rather than isolated misconduct. The course examines power dynamics, organizational structures, leadership styles, and cultural norms that allow psychological harassment to emerge, escalate, and remain unaddressed within public, private, and nonprofit workplaces.
The training emphasizes early identification of bullying behaviors, including subtle and covert forms of psychological harassment. Learners will develop the ability to distinguish between normal workplace conflict, poor management practices, and patterns of abusive conduct that require formal intervention and prevention strategies.
Through practical tools and real-world scenarios, participants will gain skills to document incidents, support affected employees, and respond appropriately as managers, HR professionals, or peers. The course integrates trauma-informed and psychologically safe approaches to ensure responses do not retraumatize victims.
Emerging issues such as cyberbullying, remote work harassment, intersectional discrimination, and whistleblower retaliation are explored in depth. The course also addresses the growing legal and reputational risks organizations face when bullying and harassment are inadequately managed.
By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to design and implement effective prevention, reporting, and response systems. The training empowers organizations to foster respectful workplaces, protect mental health, and strengthen accountability, trust, and psychological safety across teams.
