Course Introduction

Women’s Leadership in Community Transformation and Local Governance Course is designed to strengthen the leadership capacity of women in shaping inclusive, accountable, and participatory local governance systems that drive sustainable community development and social transformation.

The course explores how women leaders can influence decision-making processes at community and local government levels, ensuring that governance systems are responsive to diverse needs and priorities, particularly those of marginalized and underrepresented groups.

A key focus of the training is addressing structural barriers that limit women’s participation in local governance, including cultural norms, institutional biases, limited access to leadership opportunities, and weak representation in decision-making platforms.

The course also examines participatory governance models, community engagement strategies, and collaborative leadership approaches that enable women to lead transformative change in local development planning and service delivery systems.

Training Venue 

The training will be held at our Upskill Training Centre. We also offer training for a group (at a discount of 10% to 50%) at requested location all over the world.
