Course Introduction

Women's economic empowerment is a powerful driver of sustainable development, poverty reduction, inclusive economic growth, and social transformation. This Women's Economic Empowerment Training Course equips participants with practical knowledge, policy insights, and implementation strategies to design, manage, and evaluate initiatives that strengthen women's economic participation and improve livelihoods across diverse sectors.

Despite significant global progress, women continue to face structural barriers including unequal access to finance, limited ownership of productive assets, discriminatory social norms, restricted participation in formal labor markets, unequal pay, and limited representation in economic decision-making. This course provides participants with practical tools to analyze these challenges, identify opportunities for inclusive growth, and develop evidence-based interventions that enhance women's entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, decent work, business development, and sustainable income generation.
