Introduction
The Supplier Management Training Course is designed to equip procurement professionals, supply chain managers, and organizational leaders with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage supplier relationships and optimize supplier performance. In today’s increasingly global, complex, and risk-sensitive supply environments, organizations must move beyond transactional procurement to develop strategic, collaborative, and value-driven partnerships with suppliers.
This course explores the full supplier management lifecycle, from supplier selection and onboarding to performance evaluation, risk management, and continuous improvement. Participants will learn how to segment suppliers based on strategic importance, negotiate robust contracts, develop supplier scorecards, and foster long-term value creation through collaboration, innovation, and shared goals. Emphasis is placed on balancing cost, quality, risk, and sustainability to ensure supply reliability and competitive advantage.
With the growing importance of ethical sourcing, digital supply chains, ESG compliance, and resilience, this course integrates emerging best practices in supplier relationship management (SRM). Participants will explore real-world case studies and tools such as supplier audits, SRM platforms, and risk mapping to address supplier disruptions and enhance supply chain visibility and accountability.
Whether you're managing a local vendor base or coordinating global supply networks, this course will provide practical strategies to strengthen supplier partnerships, enhance procurement effectiveness, and align supplier performance with organizational objectives. By the end of the program, participants will be better equipped to drive value, minimize risk, and build resilient supplier ecosystems.
