Course Introduction
Women’s leadership is increasingly recognized as a critical driver of sustainable development, ethical governance, and long-term institutional resilience. As organizations and governments align with ESG standards, the role of women in shaping inclusive, accountable, and sustainable systems has become more central than ever before.
This Strategic Women’s Leadership in Sustainable Development and ESG Governance Course is designed to strengthen the capacity of women leaders and allies to actively influence sustainability agendas, corporate governance frameworks, and public policy systems. It integrates leadership development with ESG principles and global sustainability priorities.
Participants will explore how women’s leadership contributes to environmental stewardship, social inclusion, and governance integrity across sectors. The course emphasizes practical leadership strategies for advancing sustainability goals while ensuring equity and accountability in decision-making processes.
A strong focus is placed on ESG governance frameworks, enabling participants to understand environmental, social, and governance metrics and how they intersect with gender-responsive leadership. The program highlights how women leaders can shape corporate and institutional ESG compliance and reporting systems.
The course also examines barriers limiting women’s participation in sustainability leadership roles and provides tools to overcome structural, cultural, and institutional challenges. Participants will learn strategies for influencing policy, driving innovation, and leading transformative sustainability initiatives.
Ultimately, this program equips women leaders with the strategic vision, technical knowledge, and governance expertise required to lead sustainable development agendas and strengthen ESG performance across institutions, corporations, and communities
