Course Introduction
Public-sector organizations are under growing pressure to deliver services that are accessible, responsive, inclusive, efficient, and aligned with changing citizen expectations. Traditional administrative approaches can struggle when problems involve complex user journeys, fragmented responsibilities, behavioural barriers, legacy processes, and rapidly evolving technologies. Strategic design thinking provides government leaders with practical methods for understanding these challenges deeply and developing solutions that create measurable improvements in citizen experience and public value.
This course presents design thinking as a disciplined approach to solving complex government problems rather than simply a collection of creative workshop techniques.
