Course Introduction
Systemic risks can disrupt multiple sectors, institutions, and communities simultaneously because they arise from highly interconnected systems rather than isolated events. The Strategic Government Preparedness for Systemic Risks Training Course equips senior public-sector professionals with advanced frameworks for identifying interconnected vulnerabilities, anticipating cascading consequences, strengthening preparedness, and coordinating strategic responses across government.
The programme examines how systemic risks differ from conventional risks and why traditional organizational risk-management approaches may be insufficient when disruptions cross institutional, geographic, sectoral, and national boundaries.
