Course Introduction

Modern governments increasingly operate within interconnected ecosystems involving ministries, agencies, local authorities, businesses, civil society organizations, development partners, universities, technology providers, communities, and citizens. These relationships can create substantial public value when strategically coordinated, but fragmented interests, competing incentives, institutional boundaries, and uneven capabilities can also limit collective performance. This course develops the strategic capabilities required to manage complex government ecosystems effectively.

Strategic Government Ecosystem Management and Partnership Innovation Training Course provides participants with frameworks for understanding, designing, governing, and continuously improving multi-stakeholder ecosystems. Rather than treating partnerships as isolated agreements, the programme examines how organizations, capabilities, resources, information, technologies, policies, and relationships interact to produce public outcomes.
