Course Introduction

Strengthening social development systems for equity outcomes requires a deep understanding of how institutions, policies, and service delivery mechanisms interact to produce or reduce inequality. This course explores how systems can be intentionally designed and reformed to ensure that equity is not only an aspiration but an operational outcome embedded across all levels of social development practice.

Many social systems continue to face challenges such as fragmentation, inefficiency, unequal access to services, and weak coordination among institutions. This course provides participants with advanced analytical tools to diagnose systemic weaknesses and design integrated solutions that improve fairness, responsiveness, and overall system performance.

Participants will examine how structural inequality is reproduced through administrative systems, policy frameworks, and resource allocation processes.
