Course Introduction

Social and Environmental Safeguards have become fundamental requirements for governments, development partners, financial institutions, NGOs, and private sector organizations implementing development projects. This course provides participants with comprehensive knowledge of safeguard principles, international standards, and practical approaches to identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring environmental and social risks throughout the project lifecycle.
