Course Introduction
Real-Time Data Streaming and Event-Driven Analytics Training Course provides a comprehensive foundation for designing, processing, analyzing, and operationalizing continuously generated data. The course explores how organizations can move beyond periodic batch processing toward architectures capable of ingesting, transforming, enriching, analyzing, and responding to data events as they occur across operational, digital, industrial, financial, and customer-facing environments.
Participants examine the principles of event-driven architecture and modern streaming data pipelines, including event producers, brokers, topics, partitions, consumers, stream processors, schemas, data stores, and analytical applications. The training explains how streaming systems can capture transactions, application events, IoT telemetry, user interactions, operational signals, and machine-generated data, while maintaining appropriate levels of reliability, scalability, latency, and data consistency for different analytical requirements.
The course develops practical knowledge of stream processing and real-time analytical techniques. Participants learn about filtering, transformation, enrichment, aggregation, windowing, joins, event-time processing, stateful computation, pattern detection, and continuous metrics. Emphasis is placed on understanding the difference between processing events by arrival time and processing them according to the time at which they actually occurred, as well as managing late, duplicated, missing, or out-of-order events.
A major focus is placed on building dependable streaming analytics environments. Participants explore data quality controls, schema management, observability, fault tolerance, replay mechanisms, delivery guarantees, backpressure, scalability, and recovery strategies. The training also examines how real-time dashboards, alerts, anomaly detection, fraud monitoring, predictive models, and automated operational workflows can consume streaming data to support rapid responses and continuously updated business intelligence.
The programme incorporates emerging developments in artificial intelligence and machine learning for streaming environments. Participants examine real-time feature engineering, online inference, streaming anomaly detection, event-based machine learning, model monitoring, and the integration of predictive models with event-driven workflows. Generative AI and intelligent automation are also considered in relation to stream interpretation, operational assistance, incident analysis, and decision-support systems, alongside governance requirements for reliability, security, explainability, privacy, and human oversight.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to understand and contribute to the design of real-time data streaming and event-driven analytics solutions. They will be equipped to evaluate streaming architectures, select appropriate processing approaches, manage real-time data quality and operational challenges, and connect event streams with analytical and business applications. The course emphasizes practical architecture, analytical reliability, scalability, monitoring, and responsible deployment in environments where timely information can directly influence operational decisions.
