Course Introduction
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement are fundamental to successful public administration, democratic governance, and the delivery of responsive public services. Government institutions operate within complex environments involving citizens, elected leaders, development partners, civil society organizations, private sector actors, media organizations, and regulatory bodies. Public officials must therefore possess strong communication and engagement capabilities to build trust, facilitate participation, manage expectations, and promote transparency. This course provides practical knowledge and tools for developing effective communication strategies and stakeholder engagement frameworks within public sector institutions.
Modern public sector organizations are expected to communicate clearly, consistently, and transparently while addressing increasingly diverse stakeholder interests and information needs.
