Course Introduction

Protection mainstreaming has become a fundamental requirement for humanitarian organizations seeking to deliver assistance that is safe, dignified, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of affected populations. Humanitarian interventions can unintentionally expose vulnerable individuals and communities to additional risks if protection considerations are not integrated throughout the program cycle. This course provides participants with the knowledge and practical tools necessary to integrate protection principles effectively into humanitarian programming and operations.
