Course Introduction

Protection Mainstreaming and Do-No-Harm Programming Training Course is designed to equip humanitarian and development practitioners with the knowledge and practical skills required to integrate protection principles into all programme sectors while ensuring that interventions do not unintentionally increase risks or harm to affected populations. In complex emergencies and fragile settings, mainstreaming protection is essential for safeguarding dignity, rights, and safety of vulnerable communities.

Protection mainstreaming ensures that humanitarian interventions are designed and implemented in ways that prioritize safety, dignity, and meaningful access for all affected populations, including women, children, persons with disabilities, and marginalized groups.
