Course Introduction

Procurement governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) has become a critical pillar of sustainable and accountable supply chain management in modern organizations. This program provides a comprehensive framework for establishing robust governance structures that ensure transparency, accountability, and ethical procurement practices across all operational levels.

In an increasingly regulated global environment, organizations face growing pressure to manage procurement risks, comply with legal requirements, and ensure ethical sourcing practices. This course equips participants with the tools and frameworks needed to navigate complex regulatory landscapes while maintaining operational efficiency and strategic alignment.

A key focus of the program is procurement governance design and implementation. Participants will learn how to establish policies, procedures, and control mechanisms that strengthen oversight, reduce fraud risks, and ensure consistency in procurement decision-making across departments and regions.

The course also emphasizes procurement risk management, including identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial, operational, supplier, and geopolitical risks. Participants will gain the ability to design proactive risk frameworks that enhance resilience and continuity in procurement operations.

Another critical area is compliance management, where participants will explore regulatory requirements, audit processes, and international procurement standards. The course provides insights into building compliance systems that ensure adherence to organizational policies, donor requirements, and global best practices.

By the end of the program, participants will be able to design and manage integrated procurement GRC frameworks that improve accountability, strengthen risk resilience, and ensure compliance while supporting strategic procurement objectives and organizational integrity.
