Introduction
Mental health has become a strategic priority for organizations seeking sustainable performance, employee wellbeing, and ethical leadership. This course provides a comprehensive foundation for developing, implementing, and institutionalizing organizational mental health policies and strategies that align with legal, social, and operational realities.
The training addresses the growing need for structured, evidence-based approaches to mental health governance within public, private, and non-profit organizations. Participants will explore how mental health strategies can be embedded into organizational culture, leadership practices, and human resource systems.
Participants will gain a deep understanding of mental health risks in the workplace, including stress, burnout, trauma exposure, and psychosocial hazards. The course emphasizes proactive prevention, early intervention, and supportive systems that promote resilience and psychological safety at all organizational levels.
Recognizing that policy development must be context-specific, the course integrates global standards, national labor regulations, and ethical frameworks. Learners will develop the capacity to design policies that are legally compliant, culturally sensitive, and responsive to diverse workforce needs.
The training also focuses on strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and cross-departmental coordination. Participants will learn how to align mental health strategies with organizational objectives, risk management frameworks, and corporate social responsibility commitments.
