Course Introduction

Accountability and transparency have become essential pillars of effective NGO management, donor confidence, stakeholder trust, and sustainable development outcomes. As development organizations operate in increasingly complex environments, they are expected to demonstrate responsible stewardship of resources, ethical conduct, measurable results, and responsiveness to the communities they serve. Strong accountability and transparency systems enable NGOs to build credibility, strengthen governance, improve performance, and maintain public trust while ensuring that programs deliver meaningful and sustainable impact.

This course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of accountability frameworks, transparency mechanisms, governance systems, and stakeholder engagement practices that strengthen organizational integrity and program effectiveness.
