Course Introduction

Financial sustainability is a critical challenge for NGOs operating in increasingly competitive and uncertain funding environments where donor dependency can limit long-term impact and institutional independence.

This course equips participants with practical strategies to design, implement, and manage diversified income models that strengthen financial resilience and organizational autonomy.

Participants will explore innovative funding approaches including social enterprise models, blended finance, impact investment, local resource mobilization, and strategic partnerships.

The training emphasizes building strong financial systems that support sustainability planning, cost recovery, and long-term program continuity beyond traditional donor cycles.

Special attention is given to financial risk management, revenue diversification strategies, and aligning funding models with organizational mission and development impact goals.
