Course Introduction

Strong governance is one of the most critical determinants of organizational effectiveness, sustainability, and accountability in the nonprofit sector. NGO boards play a central role in providing strategic direction, ensuring fiduciary oversight, safeguarding organizational integrity, and supporting long-term mission achievement. This course is designed to strengthen the capacity of board members and senior leaders to fulfill governance responsibilities effectively while promoting transparency, accountability, and organizational excellence.
