Introduction
Neurodiversity refers to the natural variation in human brain function, cognition, and behavior, including conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other developmental differences. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of neurodiversity and its implications for mental health support, workplace inclusion, and educational environments.
Participants will explore the science of neurodivergent cognition, including sensory processing differences, executive function challenges, and social-emotional variations. The course highlights how recognizing neurodiversity fosters empathy, reduces stigma, and improves engagement in professional, educational, and community settings.
The course emphasizes practical strategies to create inclusive mental health support systems that respect neurodiverse needs.
