Course Introduction

The Monitoring and Evaluation of SDGs and National Development Plans Training Course is designed to strengthen the capacity of professionals responsible for tracking, assessing, and reporting progress toward national development priorities and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As governments and development institutions increasingly focus on results-based management and evidence-informed policymaking, robust monitoring and evaluation systems have become essential for measuring progress, identifying implementation challenges, and improving development outcomes. This course provides participants with practical knowledge and tools to design, manage, and strengthen M&E systems aligned with national and global development frameworks.

The Sustainable Development Goals provide a comprehensive framework for addressing economic, social, environmental, and governance challenges.
