Course Introduction

Groundwater is one of the most dependable sources of freshwater for domestic consumption, agriculture, livestock, industrial production, and emergency water supply during droughts and climate-related disruptions. Sustainable groundwater development requires sound hydrogeological assessment, scientific borehole design, efficient drilling practices, responsible abstraction, and effective long-term borehole management. This training equips participants with practical knowledge and technical skills to develop, manage, and protect groundwater resources while ensuring reliable and sustainable water supply systems for communities and institutions.
