Course Introduction

Groundwater is one of the world's most valuable natural resources, supplying drinking water, supporting agriculture, sustaining ecosystems, and serving critical industrial processes. However, increasing industrialization, mining activities, oil and gas operations, agriculture, landfill leachate, and accidental chemical releases have significantly increased the risk of groundwater contamination. The Groundwater Contamination Monitoring and Remediation Training Course provides participants with comprehensive knowledge of groundwater assessment, contaminant monitoring, hydrogeological investigations, remediation technologies, and regulatory compliance required for effective groundwater protection and sustainable environmental management.

Effective groundwater contamination management requires a scientific understanding of hydrogeology, contaminant transport mechanisms, monitoring techniques, sampling protocols, laboratory analysis, and remediation planning.
