Course Introduction

Governments rarely achieve strategic priorities through a single programme or project. National and institutional outcomes typically depend on portfolios of policies, programmes, reforms, investments, services, and cross-government initiatives operating simultaneously and competing for limited resources. The Government Outcome Portfolio Management Training Course equips public-sector leaders and professionals with the frameworks, tools, and management practices required to govern portfolios around strategic outcomes rather than simply tracking individual project delivery.

The programme focuses on the shift from project-centric management to outcome-centric portfolio management.
