Course Introduction

GIS for Biodiversity Conservation Training Course is designed to equip participants with advanced geospatial skills to analyze ecosystems, monitor species distribution, and support conservation planning using Geographic Information Systems and spatial data technologies.

Biodiversity conservation requires accurate spatial analysis of habitats, wildlife corridors, land use changes, and environmental threats. GIS provides powerful tools for mapping biodiversity patterns and supporting evidence-based conservation decisions.
