Course Introduction
Gender Equity in Knowledge Management and Institutional Learning Course is designed to strengthen the capacity of institutions to collect, manage, and utilize knowledge systems in ways that actively promote gender equality and social inclusion. The course emphasizes transforming traditional knowledge systems into equitable and inclusive learning environments.
The training explores how gender biases are embedded in organizational knowledge systems, data collection practices, and institutional learning frameworks. Participants will critically examine how these biases influence decision-making, policy formulation, and program implementation across sectors.
A strong focus is placed on integrating gender-responsive approaches into knowledge management systems. This includes ensuring that women’s voices, experiences, and contributions are systematically captured, valued, and applied in institutional learning processes.
The course also highlights the role of organizational culture in shaping knowledge sharing practices. Participants will learn how to build inclusive learning environments that encourage participation from diverse gender groups and marginalized communities.

Training Venue
