Introduction
The Financial Modelling and Valuation Course is a specialized training program designed to equip professionals with the analytical tools and practical skills needed to build robust financial models and conduct accurate business valuations. As organizations become increasingly data-driven, the ability to translate financial information into meaningful projections and valuations has become essential for decision-making, investment planning, and strategic growth.
Participants in this course will learn how to construct dynamic financial models using Excel or similar tools, starting from historical financial data and building up to detailed forecasts, scenario analysis, and valuation outputs. The course emphasizes structured model design, best practices in model integrity and transparency, and how to use models to assess business performance and future potential. Real-world case studies and hands-on exercises will reinforce technical concepts and modeling logic.
In the valuation segment, the course covers widely used valuation methodologies, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions. Participants will learn how to apply these methods in practical contexts such as investment evaluation, mergers and acquisitions, and business planning. The course also explores how macroeconomic factors, industry trends, and financial risks influence valuation outcomes.
Whether you are a financial analyst, business consultant, investment professional, or corporate decision-maker, this course provides the tools and confidence to develop sound financial models and derive well-supported valuations. By the end of the program, participants will be able to build professional-grade models, communicate valuation insights effectively, and support high-stakes financial decisions with precision and clarity.

· Use structured modeling techniques, error-checking tools, and industry standards to build reliable, scalable models.
· Master essential Excel functions, shortcuts, and tools such as data tables, sensitivity analysis, and scenario modeling for enhanced model performance.
· Calculate enterprise and equity value using DCF, including free cash flow projections, terminal value, and sensitivity analysis.
· Evaluate the cost of equity, cost of debt, and capital structure to determine appropriate discount rates.
· Use comparable company analysis (CCA), precedent transaction analysis (PTA), and market multiples alongside DCF for robust valuation triangulation.
· Assess value drivers, growth assumptions, and risk factors to communicate meaningful insights to stakeholders.
· Apply modeling outputs to assess profitability, growth potential, and investment viability.
