Course Introduction

The Enterprise Data Readiness for Generative and Agentic AI Training Course provides a comprehensive and practical understanding of how organizations can prepare their data environments for successful adoption of generative artificial intelligence and agentic AI technologies. The course focuses on the data quality, architecture, governance, accessibility, security, metadata, context, and operational capabilities required to support trustworthy and scalable AI applications across enterprise environments.

Generative AI and agentic systems are increasing the demand for enterprise information that is accurate, current, contextualized, discoverable, and securely accessible. Organizations cannot achieve reliable AI outcomes simply by deploying sophisticated models without addressing the quality and structure of the underlying data. This course examines how enterprises can assess existing data environments, identify readiness gaps, prioritize improvements, and establish strong data foundations that support AI assistants, intelligent automation, retrieval-augmented generation, autonomous agents, and advanced analytical applications.

A major emphasis is placed on preparing both structured and unstructured enterprise information for AI consumption. Participants explore techniques for data cleansing, standardization, enrichment, metadata management, semantic modeling, document preparation, knowledge organization, lineage tracking, and contextualization. The course also examines how data products, knowledge bases, vector databases, knowledge graphs, APIs, and enterprise repositories can work together to provide reliable information to generative and agentic AI systems while maintaining appropriate access and governance controls.

The course addresses the governance and security challenges created when AI systems can retrieve, interpret, generate, and act upon enterprise information. Participants examine data classification, access controls, privacy, security, provenance, retention, auditability, responsible data usage, and human oversight. Particular attention is given to risks such as sensitive-data exposure, unauthorized retrieval, outdated information, data poisoning, prompt injection, hallucination, weak source attribution, excessive agent permissions, and inappropriate autonomous actions within enterprise environments.

Practical enterprise applications are explored across customer service, finance, operations, human resources, research, supply chains, knowledge management, business intelligence, risk management, and decision support. Participants learn how data readiness can influence retrieval quality, AI accuracy, agent reliability, workflow performance, and business outcomes. The course also considers how organizations can establish data observability, readiness metrics, testing practices, and continuous improvement processes to ensure that enterprise information remains fit for rapidly evolving AI use cases.

By completing the Enterprise Data Readiness for Generative and Agentic AI Training Course, participants will be equipped to develop practical enterprise data-readiness strategies that support safe, reliable, and scalable AI adoption. They will understand how to evaluate data maturity, improve information quality and accessibility, strengthen governance, prepare knowledge assets, support AI retrieval and reasoning, and establish organizational capabilities that enable generative and agentic AI systems to operate effectively while maintaining human accountability and enterprise control.
