Course Introduction

Electrical Equipment Lubrication and Maintenance Training Course provides participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills for planning, implementing, and optimizing lubrication and maintenance programs for electrical equipment used in industrial facilities, utilities, power generation plants, oil and gas operations, mining, manufacturing, commercial buildings, water and wastewater treatment facilities, transportation infrastructure, and renewable energy installations. Proper lubrication and maintenance are fundamental to ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing wear, reducing downtime, extending asset life, improving energy efficiency, and maintaining safe and continuous plant operations.

Many electrical assets incorporate mechanical components that require effective lubrication and maintenance, including electric motors, generators, bearings, gearboxes, cooling fans, pumps, compressors, motor-driven equipment, actuators, and auxiliary systems. Inadequate lubrication, contamination, improper lubricant selection, over-lubrication, under-lubrication, misalignment, vibration, excessive temperatures, and poor maintenance practices can result in premature equipment failures, increased energy consumption, production losses, and costly repairs.
