• Role of the Data Protection Officer (DPO)

Day 2: Building a Privacy Compliance Framework

• Creating a data protection strategy
• Developing and maintaining a data inventory
• Consent management and lawful bases for data processing
• Creating policies for data collection, retention, and destruction
• Privacy notices, terms and conditions, and documentation

Day 3: Data Subject Rights and Breach Response

• Rights of individuals (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection)
• Handling data subject access requests (DSARs)
• Incident detection, breach notification, and response plans
• Reporting obligations and engagement with data protection authorities
• Record keeping and audit trails

Day 4: Risk Management, Audits, and Organizational Culture

• Managing cross-border data transfers (SCCs, BCRs, adequacy)
• Dark data and unstructured data management
