• Introduction to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
• SDGs, Paris Agreement, and global climate policy frameworks

Day 2: Risk Assessment and Vulnerability Mapping

• Environmental and climate risk analysis techniques
• Tools for vulnerability assessment (e.g., CRiSTAL, GIS)
• Climate hazard mapping and data interpretation
• Socio-economic and ecological vulnerability factors
• Indigenous and community-based approaches to resilience

Day 3: Building Climate-Resilient Systems

• Urban planning and climate-resilient infrastructure
• Ecosystem-based and nature-based adaptation solutions
• Green buildings and sustainable construction practices
• Climate-smart agriculture and food systems
• Water resource management in a changing climate

Day 4: Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA)

• EIA and SEA processes, stages, and legal requirements
• Stakeholder engagement and participatory environmental planning
• Case studies: EIA in infrastructure, energy, and extractives
• Environmental monitoring and compliance mechanisms
