Course Introduction
The Civil Asset Maintenance Training Course provides a practical and comprehensive framework for managing, maintaining, inspecting, and improving civil infrastructure throughout its operational life. The programme focuses on extending asset service life, reducing deterioration, controlling maintenance costs, improving safety, and ensuring that infrastructure continues to deliver reliable performance.
Civil assets such as roads, bridges, drainage systems, buildings, pavements, culverts, retaining structures, water infrastructure, and public facilities require systematic maintenance to prevent premature deterioration and expensive rehabilitation.
