Course Introduction

Governments face an increasingly uncertain operating environment in which economic disruptions, geopolitical shifts, technological breakthroughs, climate pressures, demographic changes, public-health threats, and systemic crises can rapidly alter strategic priorities. The Advanced Scenario Planning and Strategic Preparedness for Government Training Course equips senior public-sector leaders with practical capabilities to explore alternative futures, test assumptions, assess vulnerabilities, develop strategic options, and prepare institutions to respond effectively to both foreseeable and unexpected developments.
