Course Introduction
The Advanced Office Administration and Facility Operations Course is designed to strengthen the capabilities of administrative and facility professionals responsible for maintaining efficient, productive, safe, and well-coordinated workplaces. The programme integrates advanced office administration with modern facility operations, enabling participants to manage people, processes, physical assets, information, service providers, and workplace resources more effectively.

Modern administrative professionals are increasingly expected to perform beyond traditional clerical and office-support responsibilities. They coordinate executive activities, manage documentation and information flows, supervise office services, support procurement and budgeting, manage vendors, monitor facilities, coordinate meetings, and contribute to organizational performance. This course provides practical frameworks for handling these expanding responsibilities professionally and strategically.

The course provides participants with practical approaches for improving office systems, administrative workflows, records management, workplace communication, space utilization, maintenance planning, asset management, security, occupational safety, utilities, cleaning services, fleet coordination, procurement, inventory, and contractor performance. Emphasis is placed on establishing reliable systems that improve service quality while controlling operational costs.

Participants will explore contemporary developments transforming administration and facilities management, including digital workplaces, artificial intelligence, smart building technologies, workplace analytics, hybrid working environments, sustainability, energy efficiency, cybersecurity, business continuity, employee experience, and data-driven facility management. These emerging practices enable administrative teams to become more proactive, efficient, resilient, and responsive.

Through case studies, practical exercises, templates, simulations, group assignments, and workplace scenarios, participants will learn how to diagnose operational weaknesses and implement measurable improvements. By the end of the programme, participants will be better equipped to establish efficient administrative systems, optimize facilities, manage operational risks, improve workplace experiences, and support organizational objectives.
