Course Introduction
Modern governments increasingly operate within complex networks involving ministries, agencies, local authorities, private organizations, civil society, academia, communities, international institutions, and technology providers. Major public challenges rarely fit within one institutional mandate, making network governance essential for coordinating distributed capabilities, resources, information, and authority. This course equips government leaders with advanced approaches for governing networks and leading interconnected public-sector ecosystems.
Network governance requires leaders to influence outcomes without relying exclusively on hierarchical authority.
